Making It to the TechStars Screening Committee

In my case, one of the team members of one of the programs reached out to me on LinkedIn. We did a call and he was a bit impressed. I think with his reference, my application made it through the different rounds easily.

I was able to pitch my startup in front of the Screening Committee. The Screening Committee call has 15+ super smart people. So you better be prepared for all kinds of questions.
