Tips for the application

• Write good answers on the application. Make use of the example answers.
• Be crisp and include facts and figures in your answers as much as possible.

Tips for the interview

• The interview is usually just 10 to 15 minutes long. Tell things in sufficient detail but don't keep rambling. Give them enough time to ask questions.
• More than the idea, they are taking a bet on you. Present a nice story about yourself, highlight your past achievements, be confident, and be prepared for common VC questions.
• Email all relevant material after the interview.

Getting into Draper University (with a scholarship)

Just communicate well about your startup.

You need a great application and a great interview, and then you are in.

Once you are in, apply for the scholarship ASAP. Most people get 40% to 80% scholarships. As far as I have heard from other alumni, only about 20% of applicants pay the full fees.
